(the title should be said like Ashton Kutcher in That 70s Show)
Here I am! Back in black, back in the habit, back in America's Dairyland.
Oh how sweet it is to sleep in my own bed!
The trip was fabu, had a good time. Minimal confrontation between family members which is surprising. I was sure someones jugular would be ripped out at some point. I won't bore you with the deets so instead I will provide you with pictures! And a shit ton of 'em. Perhaps I'll elaborate on the trip later. The photos are quite self explanatory. Right off of facebook, I'll put them in order of the trip.
Adam's Wedding and Nashville
Doing Things on Both Sides of the Potomac
District of Columbia Bitches!
Why did I like the Smithsonian? Cuz it had Smith in the name
You'd be sad too if your face looked like a butt
There! The album titles are the titles I used on facebook. Honestly, not as cleaver as I think they are I know.
Enjoy!

Soundtrack
I think I have the most important job for our up coming trip. I am in charge of making the playlists and let me tell ya, when I make a playlist all other playlists bow down before it. Why? Half is song selection, which is stellar, and the other half is the meticulous effort I put forth in arranging it so every single song flows nicely. You can't go from an upbeat song strait to a slow song, you must mesh them together! The playlist needs to be a continuous gradient of good.
Music is hella important in long car trip and let me tell ya, we got a few. The playlist for the drive to Tennessee, a delightful ten hour drive we're doing in one day, is title "HeeHaw! Tennessee Travelin' Tunes" and at this point is only 7 hours long. What is it loaded with? Um country music, dur. We are going to Nashville.
Then it is another glorious ten hour drive to Washington DC with playlist entitled "Is that the Washington Monument in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?" Which has some patriotic songs and well, just a bunch of other shit.
I'm thinking about making one for the journey home, a delicious 14 hour drive. Perhaps entitled something like "Return to Wisconsin: The Long Journey Home" I don't know. That's just the working title right now. It might be better.
34 hours approximately in the truck. Yikes. Five full sized human beings in a truck that only fits five. Tight squeeze? Chya. Tempers flaring? I'm guessing at some point. And we aren't spending any nights on the road. Driving straight through. Which really won't be bad and lets face it, better because we are all staying in one hotel room after all.
A-bag and I pretty much planned the entire Washington trip so we got everything down to a certain science. We bought food, water and pop for the road so we will minimize our money spending at gas stations. And I'm taking a stash of sleeping pills because my dad snores. And well, I can't handle that while trying to sleep. So if it comes down to it, hello non-dependent sleep aide!
Alright. I got shit to do. Adios amigos.

Clean Sweep
You know what I haven't blogged about for a while? My guys. My fellas. My boys in blue, the Brew Crew. (Ya know, I'm actually am not a fan of saying Brew Crew) Anyhoo. It's been a while since I've talked about them and for good reason. For a while there they were sucking ass and bringing it up would hurt my soul. But now things are better! Actually have been since about Memorial Day. Won 3 of 4 from Atlanta, swept the Astros and swept the Diamondbacks. But I won't say anything like they are getting hot or it's start to turn in their favor because I don't want to jinx them of course.
Corey Hart hit an in the park home run yesterday which is very impressive. Though if you're my sister then you think all home runs are in the park which I guess technically they are but she needed clarification that an in the park home run means the ball never leaves the field. Silly broad. Oh. Another word I'm not too fond of. Broad. Hmm.
Um right. So nothing real exciting been going on. Worked the last two days at my internship. It went just fabu. Realized that without any computer access while at my apartment I don't know what to do with myself. Sure there's TV but still, it was a little weird.
And holy cats! The thunderstorms this morning were crazy loud! It seemed like at my apartment this spring I slept through every single storm we had and there was some monstrous ones. Well I assume so because at work the next day everybody was going on and on and on about the storms. I don't recall waking up once to a storm there. But at home I do. Then again there is Tubby in WW so every night it's like thunder. Meh.
Strange. I think one ear canal is bigger then the other. That's odd.
On that note, I should go do something else.
Ciao peeps

Unpaid Working Girl
So yay! Got my internship down in dub dub. 12 hours a week unpaid which warrants a le sigh but is alright. It's allllllll about the experience baby. I start this week!
Other then that I really don't have much to share. I had a good time with A-bag at kindergarten the other day! No, no finger painting which was a little sad but I did get to help the wee ones outline self portraits. I sat in teeny tiny chairs that made it so my knees were at my ears. I got to feel like a giant towering over a room full of kids a little more then waist high. I got to eat hot lunch which yes most people had really bad school food and well it isn't like O-towns was a culinary master piece but it was chicken nuggets and mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm MMM! Love me some chicken nuggets. Except there wasn't the vat of bbq sauce so I had to eat them with ketchup. And the ketchup was in pre-determined cups instead of the huge ass can with the pump. I also drank chocolate milk out of a carton with a straw which seriously isn't something I had done since elementary school. Seriously. They took those away after the fifth grade. So sad. The icing on the cake would have been if the school was my old elementary school but it wasn't. It was the loser one across the parking lot. Puh. But that one did have the tunnel of love but I hear it's gone now. Once again, so sad.
Annnnnyway. So um yeah. I don't really have much going on. I'm feeling extremely poor at the moment thank you. Between gas and not working, yikes. And I have a 50 dollar energy bill to pay and well I ain't got that kind of chedda in they ol' check book and I hate transferring money out of my savings account. It makes me feel poor. But I'm not gonna bitch about the 50 bucks cuz well, I'm guessing that's pretty cheap compared to some folk. Me and my roommate are stingy. We went the winter without turning the heat on once (didn't need it, never got below 65) and we unplug everything thing to save the penny's.
Alright. That's all I got.
blog ya later blogoshpere.
