Honey, I'm home!

Hello long lost blogger reader(s)! Mommy's back in town.
A month absent has hopefully made your heart grow fonder. But probably not. And I was thinking to myself what should I do for my first blog back? Should I just go on about my break? Should I play it cool like I was never gone? Then I decided I should do a year in review because everyone does them. Mine will be different however because well, it's the 21st and I'm doing it opposed to the 1st. And of course it'll be katie style. Don't know what that style is really but just hang in there. So here it is....

2007 Rewind
January
I don't remember much. Let me think. Was on break most of it working. Nothing special so lets move on to...
February
My birthday! And the birth of my blog. Was probably feeling a little angry at the world at some point. Still don't remember anything exciting outside the day of my birth happening that month. NEXT
March
Spring Break! Yay! I did nothing. I sat around the house. Yay for lazy days!
April
Baseball season started. Opening day Ben Sheets pitched a complete game. Yay! Felt angry about parents going on cruise, wanted to go. Thought to self, never get to go anywhere. This blows.
May
The school year drawing to a close. Watched the Brewers, thought to self who is that at third base? He intrigues me, oh it's some dude named Counsell. Must look up more. Yikes born in 1970 he's too old. School year ended, went up north. Not happy about being shuffled around a lot in a few days. Mom and dad in Ireland. Angry they did not take me. Happy about presents.
June
Yay Brewers still doing good. Boo must start to work. Go up north, hunt for Chuckles. Never really find Chuckles. The hunt will continue for I'm guessing the next fifteen years. Move into apartment, sort of. Decide Counsell favorite baseball player. Sorry JJ, you're prettier at least. House work started. Worker men milling about, makes me uncomfortable.
July
Fireworks! Wait. Did not see any. Deprived. More work, boo. Yay! Counsell Tshirt came, very happy about that. Work driving me crazy, too many idiots. Brewers have melt down, start to suck. Wear rally pants and I can't help but laugh. More up north. Not too exciting. Siding men around all the time. Javier and Ted work on waterfall, not their real names just the ones I assigned them.
August
When the hell did this happen? August! School is almost going to start. Work some more, get angry some more. Finish work mid-month, go to Fort and transfer there. Decided to start a weekly trivia blog entry. Does not last more than one week. Oops. Brewers doing bad, oh so sad. Finally move stuff into apartment. Start to watch Dirty Jobs on a regular basis. Damn you Mike Rowe.
September
School starts. No internet at home. Do no blog much. School not too bad. Start at Fort mid-month. Nice people, nice making the cash. I'm sick of school already. Brewers do better! Almost win NL Central but fall short to the Cubs. Damn Cubs, I hate you! Next year. Baseball season over, a little sad. Football season starts. Don't give a rats ass. Joined Zeta Phi Eta. Professional fraternity, must network, must get good job in future.
October
Internet! Finally it is set up and working by mid-month. 100th blog post. Sick of school. Still working. Nothing exciting.
November
Mmm. Thanksgiving. Eat turkey and good food. Angry at the lack of corn and the not so delicious potatoes. Snow and cold start. Not angry about that, like the winter a little. Semester almost done, can taste the sweet, sweet nectar of the soon to be freedom.
December
Snow, lots of snow this month. Food Network tightens its grip on me. School ends for semester, make Dean's List. Yay me! Christmas! Bake cookies for mom, make mess. Don't get yelled at which is surprising. Win ugly Christmas part 2 with my 80's get up. Don't have a picture, don't know which camera they are on. Probably dad's. Presents! Good presents! Shake the shit out of them. Get in trouble. Guess what I am getting, get in trouble again. Cannot win. Christmas day! Yay! Funny tshirts and Brewers batting practice hat, hooray! Tyler and I spend lots of time playing Halo 3. I suck at the running around and shooting game. Get better. Play the actual mission. Beat the game in what I'm guessing to be 10-12 hours. (not consecutive. and I guess I didn't technically beat it but we got to the very end and if only we had time to run through tunnel, would have beat it right there and then. Did not, but damnit I still beat the game!) New Year's Eve. Meet Tyler's girlfriend. Win at poker, take that suckas. Midnight, champagne. Year done, so is the year in review.

There. That was my year.

January so far has been fab. Have a nice new calendar, it's a count down until Bush is out of office. Hehe. Has things he has said that are stupid and stupid pictures. Got some bumper stickers from Lauren that say Republicans for Voldemort. Love 'em. Got the tshirt with a man who has bear arms and it says "the second amendment" Love it.

Alright. Enough. I need to get my stuff ready for tomorrow. I am sad to say my streak of having no classes at 8 AM is over. Very sad about that but at least I don't have any classes on Friday. Hooray!
