It smells like spring! Spring is here! I can sense it and scent it! I SMELL YOU SPRING!
What is the smell of spring? Why to me it's the smell of earth and water. Dirt and melting snow. It just is a wonderful smell! The smell of dirt and earth means things will soon be budding, coming back from it's wintery basement. Smell good! Next will come the smell of summer! The hot air mixed with the smell of alfalfa...or so I'm told it's alfalfa according to my mother. It's some farm plant...and no not cow poo. Cow poo can be smelled at almost any time. And summer also has the smell of water but it's more the smell of rain. Oh I love the smell of rain! I'm just a big scent person I guess. My nose is super sensitive. Got a lot of ole factories. You know those scent receptors? but I'm guessing ole factories isn't what they're really called.
Anyway. I smell spring and you better not go away. I have my nose on you! I'm like a scent hound! Also another sign of spring? the Chinook blowing. Though I don't think the wind today was very chinook-y. Once that warm bitch starts up then it'll be nice. But in the summer the warm wind isn't called the Chinook...what's it called? Meh. I don't know. Hot air blowing in from the Gulf?
But you know the summer wind is my fickle friend who sighs his lullabies through nights that never end. He came blown' in from accross the sea, lingered there, touched your hair and walked with me.
Then of course it's a marvelous night for a moondance, a fabtabulous night to make romance beneath the cover of October skies---wait. No! My friend the summer wind would have nothing to do with a moondance beneath October skies.
....lyrics from song...messed up to my liking... :)
I do love Michael Buble. Captain Smith and Pocahontas! Had a very mad affair, when her daddy tried to kill him, she said daddy don't you dare he gives me fever!
Ok sorry.
I was just on cnn.com and saw a headline that made me laugh. Not because the situation is funny but because it just seems...I don't know. it was something like "Grain prices raise 125%, hungry people riot" It was just the hungry people part that got me. It just seems...I don't know. In my head I flash to some dude with a really low voice reading the headline super slow and I guess that's what adds to the humor some. Starving children in Ethiopia is not funny, now Malawi on the other hand, hil-ar-i-ous!
right o good chaps. Must go watch Dirty Jobs and go rustle up some grub.
Word to your brothers....if you got them.
