Totally went to the Brewer game on Saturday, totally was like two feet from Mr Counsell, totally got his autograph and totally did not say a single word or make eye contact with him. hehehehe.
I did while the line was winding down but once I got to the table, nope. Took the little cards they had there semi-pre autographed and went on my merry little way. I did then take pictures while sitting in the stands not too far away very creepy like but that was about it. The man in front of us in line, us being Ashley and myself. My mommy and daddy were there too but didn't wait in line, they instead started to drink at 1030 in the morning which isn't unusual for our family. Anyhoo, the man. I think his name was Jimmy. He was older, I'm guessing 50-60, had a bubbling personality and would talk to us about anything. And he talked to us the whole time in line which was about 45 minutes. Anyways, Jimmy is what I'd classify as a mild stalker. He's the dude that waits outside after the games trying to get autographs while the players are going to their cars. He hops fences to get them. Me? Not so much. I do my stalking in a controlled, acceptable, environment. Such as the Brewers on deck where the players are sitting there expecting people to come up to them. Ashely took a total paparazzi picture of Ozzie Chavez, stuck the camera right in his face. Well it wasn't right there but still very paparazzi. My mission was to get a Counsell autograph and I got a Counsell autograph. Also a Brian Shouse one since he was at the same table. Wanna see it? I know you do, later.
Whew! The game was pretty sweet, though we left during the seventh inning. (Not my idea, obviously) Got some good pictures, got in the baseball mood, got vamped for Friday.
Dissappointed I didn't get to see JJ or Prince. Saw Ben Sheets, Jeff Suppan, Mike Cameron, Eric Gange (who is already on my list after almost blowing the game yesterday. Seriously! One game in the season!) Bill Hall, Corey Hart, well obviously Craig Counsell and Brian Shouse while milling about the stadium.
For pictures from the game take a looksy
And a quick picture of the picture wall I have created from the pictures. ...I said pictures about two too many times....(Psst! Remember what pisses me off? Good...good. Blogger and putting pictures on it! Ooooooooh it makes me angry!
Yay!
The whole shabang.
Oh look what my new camera can do! Just pick up one color! How pimp is that?!
Ok ok. Enough with this. Outside the Brewers game my Spring Break was what most cultures would classify as uneventful. Relaxing, yet utterly boring at times. Spent way to much money. But that's ok. Didn't cut my hair like I said I might nor did I color it. My mother had a kinipshit almost when I said I wanted to change the color.
mmmmmmmmk. I'm outtie. (Brewers @ Cubs tomorrow 1:20 Central time..watch it. But if they, being the Brewers, start to suck because you're watching and you generally don't, turn the TV off and back away slowly. A thank ya)
